Getting to the Riverhouse Hotel & Inns

Directions from the South:
It's easy! From Boston, MA (200 miles):
Proceed north on I-95 to Exit 44 (I-295, South Portland) and then choose one of the following two routes:

Coastal Route from Portland, ME (85 Miles):
I-295 North to exit 28 to Route 1 North (Brunswick/Coastal Route 1). Follow Route 1 North to Route 90 East just north of Waldoboro.

Alternate Inland Route from points South:
Coastal Route 1 Bypass (this is the suggested route in July and August.) I-295 (which turns into I-95 around Falmouth) to Exit 49 (Gardiner, Route 201). Follow Route 201 into Gardiner and stay straight over bridge. At end of bridge, turn right then take the next left onto Route 226. Follow Route 226 until it ends and take a right onto Route 17. Follow 17 until it intersects with Route 90 in West Rockport.

No matter which route you take, make a left hand turn onto Route 90 (either in Warren, off Rt. 1, or West Rockport, off Rt. 17) and follow Route 90 until it meets with Route 1 again in Rockport. At the intersection with Route 1 make a left hand turn (North on Route 1). This puts you just South of Camden. Now continue with the Local Directions below:

Local Directions:
Now that you have made it this far, it is time to be careful not to pass your correct left hand turn to us. As you approach the downtown Camden area, you will stop at a stop sign with a flashing light. The Stop 'n' Go convenience store is directly on your right, the Old Yellow School House is ahead to your right, and there is a Church on your left. (See map below.) After you make it through this light, make sure that you take the 2nd left onto Route 105 (Washington Street). Your reference is the 3-story Camden Opera House and Town Office on your left. Take this left hand turn (immediately after the Town Office). Go one block, straight through the blinking red light, and take your first right onto Tannery Lane. Register for all properties at the Riverhouse Hotel.

From the North:
Take Route 1 South to downtown Camden, go past the Camden Public Library (on your left) and down the hill into town. Once you are past Camden National Bank (red brick building on your left after a four-way intersection), take a right onto Route 105/Washington Street. Go one block, straight through the blinking red light, and take your first right onto Tannery Lane. Register for all properties at the Riverhouse Hotel.
