Plan your event in Camden Maine!! Starting in the summer of 2010 we will be holding lobster bakes in our backyard for up to 40 people. 1 1/4 to 11/2 lb. Lobster, corn, sausage, Maine potato, clams, chips and drinks. Afterward we will have roaring fire in our pit out back where you can make s'mores, and anyone that has a child with them can get an ice cream at our stand. If someone in your party is not a lobster eater, we can whip up hot dogs or burgers.

Almost everyone who enters our beautiful lobby for the first time is drawn straight to the backdoor, and exclaims how beautiful our backyard is. Starting in the late 2009 season, we will be having Lobster Bakes for our guests on Friday & Saturday nights. For any group over 15 rooms we will be pleased to hold a private lobster bake for your occasion. After Noon, our lovely breakfast room can be made available for a small reception, although we don’t have the facilities available for food preparation. We can provide names of caterers or deli’s to prepare the cuisine for your event. The Riverhouse is just across the street from the famed Camden Amphitheater, chosen by hundreds of brides because of its unparalleled beauty. And we have the PARKING, right in front of the Hotel, right where you need to be. Our backyard is a gorgeous setting for wedding and family photos. Groups get all the amenities of wedding groups. In season we can put on a reception lobster bake, have a fire in the pit for smores and each guest in the group get a pass for out Ice Cream Shop. Unfortunately, our capacity is 40 people.
