Our Hotel, Extended Stay Inn, Cottage and 8 Tannery Lane Townhouse are all located in the downtown of Camden Maine. There are many restaurants within walking distance of all the properties. The nearby towns of Rockport, Linconville and Rockland also have nice restaurants. Please enjoy these suggestions while you are visiting.

WHERE IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY RESTAURANT IN CAMDEN MAINE?
Sea Dogs Brewing Company
Located not far from the Riverhouse Hotel, Inns and Suites. Walking distance. This Camden Maine restaurant has Two beautiful decks that overlook Camden Harbor. Lots on the menu, something for everyone. There is a lot of seating so wait time should not be long. Sea Dogs brews their own beer.
Waterfront Restaurant
Also walking distance from the hotel. This fun and long standing icon of Camden Downtown has a lovely outside deck and bar area. Just before the Camden Yacht Club, this restaurant is a fun location because you can stroll past all the local shops on your way to and from.
Located right on the dock of Camden Harbor, this outside seating is so much fun. The infamous Schooner Appledoor II is right outside the front door.
Flat Bread Pizza
When the kids won’t eat anything but pizza, this fun flat bread restaurant is perfect. A short drive from the hotel in Rockport Maine. In the summer, the restaurant has a fun fire pit outside.

Franny’s Bistro
Walking distance from the Hotel. This Camden Maine restaurant has a menu that is french in nature, rich and tasty. The small venue is usually booked up, you should have a reservation.
Fresh and Co.
We like this place because of their unique menu. Walking distance from the hotel, this location has fun outdoor seating and great for people watching.
BLAZE
Next door to Fresh and CO, this location is also walking distance from the hotel and ideally situated. Their outside deck looks out into the harbor. Their upstairs room can be booked for private parties. Their menu is sophisticated. We really like their sister pub that is located next door – Kurafuto’s. The Restaurant also brews their own beer – our favorite is Tiny Room Brew.
40 Paper
Located very close to the Hotel. The restaurant is located in the old mill. 40 Paper is loved by locals for their Happy Hour deals!
Nina June
Located in nearby Rockport, this is hands down the best place to have an Italian dinner.
18 Central
Want oysters? This is the place to go. Located in Rockport, this fun location looks out over Rockport Harbor,
Located on Rt 1 in Rockport, this Italian Restaurant has become a favorite of locals.

The Jack
The Jack is a fun bar and indoor bocci court. The recently renovated the outside decks overlooking the waterfall. The Indoor Bocci Court is a fun Camden Maine rainy day activity or a night out with friends and family.
The Camden Deli
The Camden Deli is a great lunch place. They have an upstairs deck that looks out to Curtis Island. The sandwiches have names after the windjammer and schooner boats. The selection of beers and wines are ideal for happy hour on the deck.
The Camden House of Pizza
The Camden House of Pizza is a short walk over the footbridge from the hotel. The little store front is a favorite of locals and the staff at Camden Riverhouse Hotel.

We call our cuisine “honest food” meaning we use seasonal and locally sourced ingredients, no inconvenient truths here. Our dishes are inspired by many different cuisines and cultures.
WHERE IS A GREAT PLACE FOR COFFEE AND BREAKFAST IN CAMDEN MAINE?
Boynton and McKay
Boynton and McKay is located right around the corner from the hotel and our suites. Located right on Main Street, this local favorite breakfast/lunch stop is ideal for a home style meal. It is often referred to as an old school diner.
Bagel Cafe
The bagel cafe is a favorite of the kids in town. There is plenty of seating and the bagels are made on premises. Again – like many of the other suggestions on this page, this is right near the Camden Riverhouse Hotel.
The Smoothie Shack
Zoots
Located on Elm Street (rt1), this coffee shop is hoping. In the morning many come for the coffee, but stay for the conversation.
Owl and Turtle
The Owl and Turtle is located on Bayview Street. It is a great bookstore with a coffee shop. They have a few tables outside that are fun to sit and people watch. The famous Camden Cone Ice Cream Shop is right next door.
